Hetalia Literature Contest!

Okay, so this is a Hetalia literature contest, not just for reader inserts, which I feel are taking over the entire fandom.

R U L E S:

You MAY make a reader insert, but you do not HAVE to. It can be any Hetalia piece of writing, like Country x OC, Country x Country, a songfic, based on a book or movie, or just random Hetalia. YES, THAT MEANS YOU CAN WRITE A , though be warned, I don't favor them over other types of writing. You can add plenty of violence or gore, I don't mind. Heck, you can make it into a poem for all I care!

The only kind of writing I will not allow is crack, because I find that really hard to judge.

You may write up to THREE entries, but you can write less than three if you want to.

Also, please do not flame other contestants, because then you will be disqualified. And I don't want that!

This contest starts RIGHT NOW, as this journal is posted. It ends September 30 in US time. The entries will be finished judging on October 3.DEADLINES CHANGED. THE ENTRIES ARE NOT DUE UNTIL OCTOBER 5, AND THE JUDGING WILL BE DONE ON OCTOBER 8 OR 9.</b

T I P S:

-If you make a Country x Country, I tend to favor these pairings: Spamano, FrUk, FraBela, and PruCan. You don't have to do these, just know that you have a sightly better chance of placing if you do.

-If you make a songfic, I highly very absolutely favor anything by Sara Bareilles, especially if it's based on a song from her newest album, The Blessed Unrest.

-If you make a lemon, it has to be really good to place, because I don't favor them. :iconshruggingplz:

-I am better at judging for reader inserts, but I am also looking for originality, so please don't use too many cliches if you do make one.

-I tend to like angst better than fluff, though cute things can catch my attention once in a while. I love a bit of humor in a fanfic too.

-CHECK FOR GRAMMAR AND SPELLING. THESE THINGS MATTER A LOT TO ME AND MAY BE THE DIFFERENCE IN BEING FIRST OR LAST PLACE.

-Try to use colorful words!
